My question now is will Microsoft's products like C# and other .net technologies still run on Chrome OS? I hope so.

You can do way better than .NET, come on! There are way better languages out there.

I hope NOT! I am so tired of Microsoft controlling what I use it is time for them to step down! The day Chrome OS comes out it will be Open Source and everybody will start building off of it! You think Linux is a problem now? Wait until it goes mainstream!

Lets compare the 2 businesses here... Microsoft requires all things to run only on it's OS and it's technologies. Google leaves it open for anybody to benefit from it's value and create their own version. It will over saturate Microsoft and Apple's OS. Although there are still the people that don't care to upgrade and don't care to even be involved in these kinds of things while Microsoft and Apple steal their freedom from them without their knowledge; been happening for years.
